Cam last 2 games

Well yeah not every hobby has to be synchronized, but someone who isn't remotely interested in the Panthers would be a deal breaker for me. I guess that's more of an indictment on my lack of culture.

 

Panthers and Cam only scored 12 against Atlanta second game. They can be stopped. I think Panthers win but I think it will be because we get more defensive turnovers than Denver.

Yeah I definitely think it will be among the lowest scoring SB's.

 

My wife's over 50. If she wants to re-watch a new Cam commercial because she likes his smile, thinks he's funny or whatever and thinks he's representing nicely, I think that's great.

She also doesn't give a shit about me cussing at the TV and such. She's always been good at knowing when to get me a beer. We just do it together now.

At least she knows the difference between a TD and an Int and even why the XP has been moved back. Her biggest question is what is a catch and why shit is/isn't called PI vs holding.

She knows now very well the difference in a franchise QB we have now compared to say, Collins, B-Line, Weinke, Delhomme or the dumb no name couple after what we've watched over the years unimpressed.

My whole point was, and using her as a real, valued reference, is we have a franchise QB now who is a STAR! And I'm happy about that. He's drawing in millions. He's playing great and is a good face for the franchise, as well as a great player hopefully for years to come. In addition to the off-field good stuff.

What's really crazy? She's complained over the years of me watching the NFL channel, ESPN and such regarding football 'too much'.

The last few days, including this morning, when she got up she turned on the TV directly to NFLN and came into the bathroom while I was showering to share what was being said about our team. That's never happened since the 95 season, ever.

Which obviously means she's been reading sports shit about the Panthers.

That's unbelievable and a first after 21 years I've loved the Panthers, and I'm glad.

No offense taken, purrsy. I hope you and everyone can be so lucky as to have a wifey who's as sweet as the gem I've had the pleasure of being married to for 30 years. She can re-watch anything she wants as long as she continues to treat me like the king I am.

 

That's great.
