Only transfers would be around a coach for less than three years, while most of Kelly's players would have been around him for four or five. You're trying to spin chicken shit into chicken salad instead of manning up and admitting that you said something ridiculous. It's ok that you know almost nothing about football. In your attempt to transform what you said into something you think would be more plausible, you're deceitfully pretending that head coaches have "all the power" when we all know how rare it is for them to have that power. In almost all cases they're subordinate to the GM on personnel, as Kelly will be in San Francisco. You're making this so much worse on yourself than it needs to be. How do people like you never learn that the cover-up is worse than the crime. When you say something dumb (as even I do on occasion), man up and admit it. Trying to rationalize your stupidity and make excuses for it only makes you look that much worse.

True, I missed Utah. So Oregon was second best in conference points allowed in each of Chip Kelly's four seasons as a head coach despite you insisting that they "allowed a lot of points." Yet here we are with you continuing to make excuses for what you said rather than finding the courage to type the words: "I was wrong."

In 2013, the Philadelphia Eagles finished 4th in points and 2nd in yards gained. In 2014, the Philadelphia Eagles finished 3rd in points and 5th in yards gained. Do you honestly think your lies will convince anyone? I quoted you repeatedly and I proved that what you said was ludicrously wrong. You're acting like I'm twisting your words when the entire point of using someone's actual quote is that they can't plausibly claim that you're misrepresenting their words. No one forced you to say that Chip Kelly moved around a lot. You said that because you were ignorant of his background. No one forced you to say that Chip Kelly's teams dominated offensively because of recruiting. You said that because you were ignorant of Oregon's rankings. No one forced you to say that Oregon under Chip Kelly "allowed a lot of points." You said that because you were ignorant of Oregon's results. You have repeatedly made claims that blew up in your face precisely because you're much less knowledgeable about the sport of football than the average person. And that's ok, because knowing a lot about football is not particularly important. The problem is that your refusal to admit your errors and then to lie in an attempt to cover them up shows that you're not just ignorant, you're defective as a man.

I definitely cheer for Kelly to fail. I can't stand his snarkiness to the media, the way he dresses, the pretentious play cards. I cheer for his brand of Football to fail. I fucking hate everything about it.
