    The owner, reminds me of a couple of rich guys I know. Ego so big, they think because they knew enough to make money doing one thing, they automatically know more about something they are new at, than people who have been doing it their whole lives.

    On the other hand lots of "lifetime football people" are terrible at their jobs too. And given that the owner is cutting the checks I'd be hard pressed not to meddle.

    Most teams have no idea what to look for in a HC. I honestly would hire a guy like Shula before I hired an Adam Gase. You're not hiring an offensive coordinator. You're hiring a head coach. It's a completely different job.
