With an actual, exciting offense. Though we are similar with the running game, but not with QB play. Because the D in not as good as the 85 Bears, we have to be better on Offense than they were.

"While the Panthers’ unbeaten run is an outlier among 11-0 starts, both in quality and composition, there are far worse fates than potentially being the worst team to accomplish the feat. In fact, how they’ve done it emphasizes how impressive the streak is: 11 wins without a loss in the NFL is truly rarified territory, and Carolina got there without putting up the rarified stats that typically go along with the record. Put another way: The Panthers win ugly."

I guess you can make stats say anything. I would say they win ugly, as a total team effort- and differently than most because there's no particular thing they win by. Meaning: like not always winning on the arm of the QB (like, say Brady, Rogers or Manning), or by leaning almost exclusively on the D (like, say the 2000 Ravens or 2013 Hawks). In fact, had Seattle gone 11-0 in 2013 and 2014, their stats would be similar. The stats show the panthers win that way, in effect, but I think it's a good thing to win ugly; ugly as in compounded statistical analyses as a comparison to others, which the article tries to use to paint the panthers as an anomaly, which they actually are. And that's actually not a bad thing.

I think that might make them great for the long haul, actually. And a team that doesn't rely on just X or Y, where coaches like Belichick routinely shuts the X or Y down to enable their victory, means more to me than having basically one dood, or system, who the team has to rely on almost all the time to be victorious. Which means we may be the most balanced team that's gone 11-0, and why the stats don't add up like they think they should by trying to prove we're the worst 11-0 team.

I know I'll take the team we field right now no matter how ugly they supposedly win. I also know they've been very exciting at times in some fashion in almost every game. And most times, it's been different. I like it.

Fuck it, I like it as long as someone makes sure Rivera sees it.
