We're not out of the woods by any stretch. I hope the team is as focused as they say they are. The fanbase is annoying at all new heights, tho most of them are probably not a true base.

I am concerned to the point of affecting our seeding, yes. I am concerned that they are division games which tend to play close. But having watched the football being played this year, we have a superior team to every one of the upcoming opponents. Clearly superior in most comparisons.

Saints are just putrid, they're in total disarray. If we lose it will be a major fuck up. As in, no way we should lose to them. Giants are near last in D and really only have the one WR to worry about. They have something to play for, so it's not a gimme but we shouldn't lose that one. Ryan is throwing red zone picks weekly and the fans are booing him. And all we need to do is show that clip of him saying get the fuck off our field to get the dogs riled up. I want to see him embarrassed so badly that when he is getting beat to a pulp, his own teammates won't even help him up.

TB has the best game going recently, of the upcoming victims, and might be playing for something when we have everything wrapped up by that time. So I would concur with the great Brian Billick that they are the biggest potential roadblock.

But hell I don't EXPECT perfect and am not even sure I want it, and any given Sunday and all that. Just get the top seed and stay healthy.

    Agreesome, 100%

What is amazing, and usually does not happen with us, is this year we're winning in all phases.

We can win in the last minute in a low scoring defensive struggle- on the road.

We can win by completely blowing a team out.

We can win on the back of the defense when the offense is struggling.

We can win in a virtual shootout when the D is struggling.

We can win by running the ball down their throats when we have to- when the passing game is struggling.

We can win by passing the ball when we have to- when the running game is struggling.

We can be finesse when needed. We can be smack your ass down physical. Did anybody remember/notice Phil Simms talking about how big and physical the Panthers are, "...when you see them in person..." during the game Thurs?

We can win with backups in key places.

We can win in a torrential downpour on national TV when Gruden is talking about how hard it is to 'function', especially on offense and throwing the ball.

I can hear Panther fans yelling in the stadiums ON THE ROAD.

These aspects are completely alien to a veteran Panthers fan, and simply taken for granted by the likes of Pats and GB fans.

I'm not totally sure we can go undefeated, 16-0, or whatever. I worry going 16-0 and then one and done in the POs.

But for once I am confident our coaching staff has the guys playing at their best level, have their minds in the right place, unprecedented preparations for Panther coaching, and as something we've complained about since the beginning, our second half adjustments for the most part are right on target. Only once in 365 days could we have said we were "Outcoached" and I'm not sure we actually were in the Seattle playoff last year.

But being a diehard Panther fan from the beginning, I still expect some bad shit to happen. But the expectation is getting somewhat weaker the more I watch and pay attention to the little things.

Of course it helps when most of the NFL is shit this year, for some reason. Or does it just seem that way because of what we're doing?

The teams I worry about most in the playoffs are Zona, GB, Seattle, Minn & the Bucs, in that order.

I think for the next coupla years, it will be the NFC south who will be the div to beat.

Oh...and I hope Skip Bayless had a nice Thanksgiving. Dumbass.

Our reg season winning streak began last season with a 41-10 victory at New Orleans.

I'm predicting something similar this Sunday just as an exclamation point and to remind Brees it's time to go.

This is the first game all season I feel is a lock.

    So we'll prolly lose.

Maybe I need to talk myself out of it by week's end.

Our achilles heal has always been a backup QB coming in with little film to study.
