Disagreeing with the decision does not mean it wasn't bold - it was bold.

I love smitty - it sucks. I wish he was here. He was the Bull, for a long damn time. It was awesome. It was a bold fuckin move by Dave.

It was pointless and silly. Playing moneyball at OL was bold and seems to be working out. Cutting Smith cost money and made us worse at a position. It was a mindless decision.

A bold decision implies that there's some potential upside. There was no upside in cutting Steve Smith, financially or football wise.

It wasn't bull, it was bull headed. Fucking fatass yankee bitch robbed us of what would have been a better year last year, and an all time franchise great going out in style and maybe the whole team all the way on top this year.

There was nothing stopping the drafting and development of WRs. Or Cam. If he isn't tough enough to take the reins, he ain't tough enough.

I'm not defending Dave, but I'm not going to pretend like I have the information that he had to make the decision.

Based on what we know, yes, fucking stupid. I gotta think there was a shit-ton more going on behind the scenes. I gotta think it was extremely well thought through. I gotta think he knew the enormity of the decision.

So - to say that it made no sense based on what we think we know - sure. But if he didn't know ALOT more than what any of us know, then yeah he's a fuckin idiot. I dont think that's the case.

As for Smitty - when we were losing, he whined like a bitch to get traded so he could be on a winner. That's true. That's information we have. And now, he's not. Maybe he learned a lesson. He got fired - he was told that we decided we were better off without him - even though he was the best player we've ever had. That'll make you think about the way you deal with your teammates.

Anyway - love him. He ain't coming back, though.

I see where you have some good points but Gettleman laughing about it at the combine that year, huge insult to the fans. Fuck him.

If he was fucking Gettleman's wife up the ass, for instance, I'd completely understand the decision. You can't have something like that around the locker room.

    Otherwise, it made no sense.

I understand what you're saying, meat. Fair points. I will never understand, nor defend what Gettleman did, and I think honestly it was a clumsy mistake that came from him flubbing a presser.

I like when you post thoughtful comments. What I hate is when you curse this team. You're a good poster, but knock off the 7-9 shit, and your bad juju posts, because you have a strange power that makes it so it seems, and if I deem you as being a bane for the Panthers, I'll find you and kill you.

This team is thriving off of Hurney's draft picks, and Rivera learning to be a better coach.

Gettleman is reaping a lot of the credit for shit he had nothing to do with.
