I have to do that sometimes. I hate leaving before a game is done, but sometimes it becomes a health issue.

Sometimes it's unclear who's health is in danger.

 

My wife goes to bitchin that I need to find something else to do or find another team to root for when I get all out of whack watching the panther fuck up.

 

I remember a few years ago when my GF first saw me watch a game which we lost to Atlanta. I know she was having second thoughts, big time.

 

I never even tell them I like sports. Basically I end up living a double life.

They must think I'm the sweetest guy in the world for volunteering at church three hours every Sunday.

 

I watch games alone. I actually have gotten much less angry or stressed the past few years, but I'm no less anti social.

I actually blocked out the last philly game. Dont remember it, other than we sucked and that was pretty consistent with the season to that point.

 

Same here. I was surprised when I found out we played them last year.

 

So I am not the only one that has to watch games alone???

My wife got a dose of it right after we first started dating. It was the Rams playoff game. I hadn't took the Christmas tree down yet. I ended up smacking a Panthers ornament off the tree about 20 ft through the air over the bar into the kitchen and it shattered into a million pieces on the fridge. Also punched through a box that had the hard foam packing in it to protect a lamp or something. When I pulled my hand back out it shredded the foam and made the biggest fucking mess you ever did see. She just sat there on the coach quiet as a mouse probably thinking she was going to die that night.

Now I have a mancave downstairs that has three holes through the closet door. She flipped out after the first one. Now she's like just don't do that upstairs.

 

My husband wasn't very into football but knew he needed to get that way when he came home one day to find me with both tvs in the livingroom watching two games. Thank you Walter Payton.

We got the franchise and I was running around the house screaming and jumping up and down.

 

I'm worried about this game. The Eagles are smart enough to put a spy on Cam which is what we had to do with a talented young linebacker on Vick when he was in his prime in Atlanta

The QB spy can work against you when the QB is competent from the pocket. Also, this year's offensive line is a lot better than the atrocity we took up to Philadelphia last season.
