Really the Pats should had paid more than a $10M fine. As either way, $1M or that, Robert Kraft can afford it!

I don't get why the owners keep him around. People say money, as in the league is making a ton, but they were gonna make money with a monkey in the job.

The Pats are the cancer of the NFL. This goes way deeper than a deflated ball. Kraft should be pressured to sell the team. The integrity of the game demands at least that.

That and not cooperating with the investigation. The Patriots denied the NFL's request for additional interviews with the equipment managers and refused to help them with Brady's phone records.

But these are bottom line thinkers and so far in spite of the public backlash* they've won the labor battle, got a cushy new TV deal, and might have finally gotten a team in LA** plus he's 'their guy' these are a bunch of proud billionaires that hate to admit mistakes. I'm also guessing they wouldn't want pay his severance while trying to find a new puppet at 40 million/year.

*The same public that they really I can not stress this enough only care about the wallets of- they've won votes for new stadiums and when they can't coerced or circumvented them via threats and backdoor political deals.

**cushier TV deal in the future.

    TL;DR Goodell isn't a financial liability yet.

Delusional Pats fans hand cuff themselves in the NFL offices in NYC protesting the outcome. Oh and other Pats fans set up a fund me account to help pay the 1 million dollar fine. They don't realize Kraft is a billionaire and charges the highest for tickets

Last year I was in that stadium and it is impressive. Next to Jerryland it's probably the most worthy of being highest ticket $. There's a damn kickass BassPro Shop within walking distance!

Patriot fans don't mind Bill and Tom cheat as long as the team wins. They remind me of Tar Heel fans.
