    It's an okay deal. Oher is serviceable when healthy. His stats were respectable his first two years in Baltimore. He's still young, so I choose to blame his digression on injury. Maybe Matsko can light a fire under him. I may be wrong, but I would assume he was consulted prior to the signing and gave it a thumbs up.

    He wasn't an awful left tackle in Baltimore. The concern is that he only appears capable of playing left tackle, and he's not particularly good at it. So either we're getting a below average starter, or a shitty one-dimensional back-up.

    I've reconciled that Gettleman will make at least one of these signings every year just to piss us off. And we'll complain about for most of the season, and then the team will be awesome in December and we'll be right back in love with the CoCo all over again.

    Understood. I hope he can reach his potential. He's somewhat like Otah. Looked dominant enough to spend a first round pick on....ended up playing like a fifth round pickup. I really don't know why he's been a bust, because the talent seems to be there. Might be all the movie bullshit. Perhaps the limelight is messing with his mind the same way the media is hounding Tiger Woods. I'm trying to be optimistic and I hope he's still redeemable. A change of scenery sometimes works wonders.

    But I'm with B&B...hope they are planning to play him at LT.

    He never lived up to his draft valuation, we know that. But he could have value if he's healthy and motivated. Serviceable. Maybe.

    Gettleman thinks we'll be all happy because he isn't Chandler or Bell.

    Keep in mind...Chandler and Bell were undrafted. Oher was a first round pick. If the stars align, maybe he can be special for us. Hell, Ginn's career was somewhat resurrected in Carolina in 2013. Why not Oher in 2015, if we utilize him correctly?
