Panthers vs Cardinals NFC Wildcard Game Thread

Damn.

Kinda hard to believe we were 3-8-1 and just won a playoff game at home, third time in 20 years, with 7 rookies playing, and broke a 56 year old record in the process.

Couple of things I believe:

Cam Newton is frustrating. He doesn't throw accurately, and it seems worse.

Benjamin is extremely unreliable.

We have awful special teams, but Nortman is good.

Our defense is really, really good, and defense travels.

We have a healthy RB corps, and the offensive line is solid.

We will miss Philly Brown, and without him we only have 3 active WR total. LOL. When we were 3-8-1, I wondered if Gettleman was trying to tank.

If Cam can muster some accuracy, we have a chance. Plus, we shouldn't be here, period. Trap game for either team we face. Pressure on them.

 

We are somewhat lucky we played against a pitiful offense last night because we had far too many errors and missed opportunities.
Cam was inaccurate for sure. He missed high which he is often prone to do. Maybe next week he will settle down some.
Offensive line played against a real defensive front and we saw the pressure that resulted. Bell had a great block down field on the fozzy td but again was a liability in pass protection.
Impressed we were still able to run the ball pretty effectively. The cards had given up some big games recently.
Thomas Davis was a machine. Wow. Keuchly also had a nice game.
Special teams are what they are. We all know this is how it's gonna be the rest of the year. One or two costly mistakes a game. Gano also needs to stop sucking on FG. Solid job on kick offs.
I'm a bit more confident going into next week than coming into this week. Hopefully Cam got his jitters out.

 

So philly shoulder is bad haven't heard. How many times did Benjamin get thrown to. I was plowed and don't remember seeing him get many looks. Did anyone catch the dumb ass who came on the field behind the cardinals bench in first half. 4 security guys were on him in nanoseconds.

 

Same here. It may not be enough to win, but I think Cam and the offense will be better. They seem to play better in the underdog role lately.

 

Defenses aren't going to be those Atlanta and New Orleans pussies we racked up points against.

Please don`t waste the effort of giving this Card`s fan anymore run.
Acting black and trying to be a pro on some kind of social media is a joke.
He can`t eat crow for shit and isn`t any kind of humble before or after the game.
The dude would have still been a loser regardless of the game outcome.

I sure as hell hope we can get a returner in the draft. I'm sure there is a DB or WR that returned kicks in the draft. Kill 2 birds with one stone
