if they play like they did yesterday the rest of the season, somehow get into the playoffs and continue to play that way then it wouldn't be a bad thing and might win one....

but I'm not holding my breath

 

No I don't really expect us to win the division, but it's nice that's it's still right there on the table, as opposed to only being able to look forward to talking about players that we're not going to draft.

Are draft picks orders based on regular season records only or are playoffs factored in?

 

Only regular season we could win the super bowl and still have a mid 1st.

 

Actually, no. The rules have changed. Non playoff teams are seeded by record, playoff teams are factored by how they finish. SB winner is 32, loser 31, etc. So to make the playoffs as a 4 seed at 7-8-1 or whatever drops your draft order down considerably.

So winning division at 7-9 could make a ~10 draft position difference with another 7-9 team who didn't
