Miami has 2 of the top 6 tackles this season. Picked up 1 in FA and 1 in the draft.

 

Except that Gettleman had a chance to get Donald Penn (#10) and couldn't be bothered.

 

Yep. Played his tearjerker smash hit "Take It or Leave It", for Penn.

Handed the job to Bell while extending Chandler something like three years at decent money ( and ignored OT beyond that), giving Underwood two years, drafting late round running backs. Dipshit.

 

We could have signed Penn for the money that it cost to release Steve Smith and sign Underwood. Imagine having a top 10 left tackle and one of the better WR duos in football. Great job, fatty.

 

Not to mention, don't we currently have a cap surplus? Yes I know it will probably be carried over, but dammit, come on.

 

I just don't understand that we brought in nobody to challenge at the T spots but a raw Canadian.


I can even live with Ealy in round 2 but nobody at all. Gaffney was high comedy with the last pick. And then to try and suggest nobody would have been an upgrade? C'mon man.


I'm more bothered by the lack of concern for the T spots than losing Smitty to be honest. I can wrap me head around moving on from a 34 year old. I can't wrap my head around moving Bell to LT and expecting great things.


Seriously, our two worst graded players are Bell and Chandler per PFF. Who would have thunk it.


I think Penn gave up like 10 sacks last year so I get that.
