Nah man, you've said it a bunch. Probably not a hundred, but definitely more than ten. We realize it's in the heat of the moment.

Yeah me too. When we picked him I said "who?", why did we trade up for this guy?

KB did his best SS imitation. Dropped 2 balls right in his hands and then made a spectacular catch albeit pushed out of bounds in the endzone

I think KB probably had the home opener jitters. It was bound to happen after all the talk about his great hands in the pre-season.

KB is gonna be fine. I see him putting up incredible numbers and on his way to eventual pro bowl honors in years to come.

There had to be a time that we cut ties with SSsr. I love the guy, but the timing was probably right. Gettleman agrees.

The timing was indefensibly stupid. Steve Smith is a better wide receiver than anyone on the Panthers' roster and cutting him cost the team $2 million.

Time may show that Benjamin is a better option than Smith Sr., who we're currently playing at a cheaper price. I agree with you re. the cost of releasing Smith, but I'm trying to look at the big picture a few years down the road. Whether releasing Smith at this juncture in his career is a wise decision remains to be seen (it's fluid). But hey, I'm an optimist. For the record, I never had this feeling about Jarrett...or any other receiver we've signed in the last few years. I'm high on KB. I think he has unlimited potential with those velcro mitts of his.

Then again, he may beat the piss outta his young'un and his baby mama while under the influence of Mollies, so this rationale of mine could be shot to shit.

    But, hey...I'm an optimist.

Just because Ginn and Lafell are not special doesn't matter. There's no argument there, especially when the money comes into it. Cotchery and Avant replace Ginn and LaFell, as far as roster spots.

Smith helps us, just like Benjamin helps us, just like Olsen helps us. Now. This year. This week. next week. In the playoffs if we were to go. Which, Smitty gives us a better chance to go. If anyone is saying we are better in 2014 without him as opposed to with him, that is bullshit. Will always be bullshit.

Give me 6'5 over 5'9 and not being a locker room distraction anyday.
