    Because this predated the new policy. We're still not sure whether or not Hardy will be subject to the 6 game penalty or potentially get something harsher.

    That and there is no video of Hardy knocking her out. The video hurt Rice as much as anything as well as the fall out from former players and so called celebrities. You would think McDonald would get shit all over beating up a pregnant woman.

    So the new policy says "its a 6 game suspension for domestic abuse, unless there is a video, then you're done forever"??

    And because it happened before the new policy came out, he gets a harsher penalty?? Makes no sense.
