    Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman together made about the same money as Dominic Hixon did this year.

    It's hard to give them too much credit for Wilson, since they took him in the third and gave Matt Flynn starting QB money. That Harvin trade looks kinda shitty too.

    And all their corners play almost as well as Sherman. That coaching staff deserves the credit.

    Some talking head somewhere was saying that Pete Carroll's first coaching job was defensive backfield and it's his great love.

    I would tend to credit the position coach most because he presumably spends by far the most time instructing them, but sure, Carroll and the DC deserve kudos as well.

    I guess what I was getting at was Russell was a third round selection and Sherman a 5th. Pretty sweet when you get Pro Bowlers in those rounds. Luck or not. They better enjoy this year and next because those rookie deals will be over for Sherman after next year and Russell's in the following
