    That's what every pregame show has become. Just empty calorie television.

    "Who needs to play inspired today?"


    Who gives a fuck? What kind of analysis is that? Give me some substance. These shows have become daycares for former players.

    It's a combination of having too many people on the set and too many hours to fill. If Fox or CBS were more brave they'd end their pregame shows 10 minutes early and let the on-site hosts do a legitimate breakdown and preview for each individual game.

    I have stopped watching them. The one time I did watch a pregame show, the "c'mon man" segment made me want to puke. I used to watch the NFL Edge Matchup, but haven't caught it on in a while.

    I do kind of like how every PLAYER'S INSIDE THE GAME INSIGHT is basically "They need to do better at whatever position I played"
