    I'd bet my kid's lives that doesn't happen. The mainstream media would look at it as Gettlemen firing the coach because he wanted to beat his old boss but couldn't. Rivera is here all season.

    I can't think of a good reason to keep him around at 0-3 going into a bye. He's coaching for his job today. I hope he stays because I want the win.

    I'll point out that firing a coach this early is not unprecedented. The Rams got rid of Linehan four weeks into '08. Nolan went a few weeks later in SF, I believe.

    It'll be a constant battle between poor coverage and poor pass blocking. Eli has been pressured a lot this season.
