    I don't believe it would be in the best interest of the club long term to fire Rivera mid season. It would be just another PR move to appease fans and might possibly limit coaches who are interested in the job.

    Open letter to Jerry :

    No point in firing Rivera until after the season. The season's already hosed.

    1. Let it ride, we get top 10 pick end of season
    2. You need to open the checkbook , and go get that Stanford coach after the season.
    (You've got enough spare change to build a college field with your name on it, you can afford to spend big $$ for the next coach).

    If you hire another coach on the cheap again, you and your team can go rot in Wofford. :knife:
