I know it's preseason and they're playing against a bunch of drunks, but they look pretty beastly. That's going to be a big mountain to climb week one.

I can see us having about fourteen 3-and-outs against that defense. Shula calls a dive from I formation, loss of two. Cam sacked on second down. Draw on 3rd and forever and punt. Rivera looks on motionless from the sidelines with his arms folded and his right index finger touching his lips.

Predictably it's going to be one of those games where we play well on defense considering the circumstances and lose 14-3

Oh, I'd sure as shit rather have them here than go up there. The west-to-east trips are brutal for any team.

True, but probably the easiest in week one. Pete Carroll wasn't bad with the Patriots in his first go-around, so I'm not sure why people were so sure he'd be terrible after leaving USC. The physicality of his team is really fun to watch and something I wish the Panthers had more of.

I was amongst the Carroll haters- thing is in NE his teams got worse each year so it seemed like he was just riding a good parcells team into it's sunset (see also Philips Wade) and I got the impression his rah-rah stuff started to wear as the results worsened.

Seattle is definitely working for him though, he's built a defense that smashes people into dust and even without Wilson they would be a good team.

If week one is anything like last years game it'll be impossible to watch. Cam was horrible. Their secondary is legit and Wagner prolly outplayed Kuechly last year. Not sure how we acre against them.

They are playing strong, but to me, they are playing hard against 3rd stringers. I do not like Carroll at all!
