Arizona playoff loss. We score first and then it was like falling in quick sand

Season opener against Philly after the Arizona playoff loss. It was hot as hell and it looked a lot like the Arizona game. Ironically my brother got me a framed picture of BOA for christmas and it was taken during that game the score on the board was PHI 17 CAR 7 in the 2nd qtr I think.

    #1 - Arizona playoff loss

#2 - 2004 season opener vs Green Bay on MNF - coming off Super Bowl, huge expectations, got our asses kicked and Smitty broke his leg on horse collar tackle. Also threw beer on my boss by mistake....still have my job though :)

I think mine was the GB shitty turf game. Morgan breaks his leg. That game was just embarrassing for the org.

Yep, 2001 Arizona for me too. (think it was the 2001 one - it was when we lost late on a fumble I think) I went berzerk after the game. I lost it like a petulant little child, and embarrassed myself and my then girlfriend. I threw an ass cushion they gave out out into the crowd, and while walking outside back to the car I screamed and yelled how tired I was of this franchise, and all in all I just lost it. I was fuming, acting completely insane.

I've calmed down a lot. But back then I was a little dangerous, and I liked to hit people, and I remember looking for anyone wearing a Plummer jersey or whatever that dude's name was on their team.

I've never ever lost it like that AT the stadium like that before then, or since then.

None of them. I love them all. Especially now that the opportunity to go isn't as viable as it used to be - I'll still catch a game occasionally, but it's maybe once a year.

If I had to single out a "worst" game I've been to, I'd say it was the Pittsburgh game in 2006. For one, a lot Steeler fans are fucking gross and obnoxious. There comes a point where being a loud, drunk jackass waving a stupid little yellow towel is no longer endearing to me. So you have that to deal with, plus we were getting the absolute living shit kicked out of us. The weather was pretty nice, though.

Isn't that you after every game?

I do have a very weird nostalgia about the '01 games. Maybe it's because 2001 was such a horrible year for me in general, that being able to go to those games was sanctuary from that. Plus we had Jim Harbaugh on our team.

Yeah, that one was pretty bad too. I'd equate it to the Giants game this past year (Thurs night)....
