I think beating ATL was big for us last year. I think we're turning the corner.

I actually think we can reach the playoffs next year. Im thinking year 3 will be big for Rivera.

The gif signature is a little bit of a distraction, but no, I didn't see the Atlanta win as "turning the corner." I saw it as a very good win against a good team, that was probably looking ahead to the playoffs a little bit. I don't think it was anymore of a turning point for this team than the Houston win in 2011.

Shein saying we're going to be terrible is pretty fucking stupid, though. There's too much talent on this team for that to happen. More than likely, you'll just see another middling season for us.

Most nfl teams have a ton of talent, it's the jack offs that really blow that often make a team terrible. I see the panthers at anywhere from 6-10 to 10-6 next year. I think they really should've tried to clean up more cap mess this season to build more sustained success, but gettlemen seems to be thinking a lot more in a two steps ahead mode than Hurney who was always two steps behind. Really interested to see if cam hears the criticism in the right vein and tries to grow up and grow into a better leader. I think I heard on wfnz that he said he needs to use a lot more of his check downs which in my opinion would be big for his progression...if he can get a little better touch on his short throws.

I think the first half of last season was Cam's wake up call.

The play calling was also better but he seemed to take what the D was giving more and forcing it less than in the first half.

Fair enough but I really dont buy the ATL looking ahead part. We should have won the first time around in their house. This is a team we really havent matched up to well with in recent years. It pains me to admit it but they've kinda owned us. I think beating them was huge for us mentally and not just for last year.

Houston was a little different, they had Yates starting and I think Johnson was out too.

And we were arguably one too. We lost to KC.

ATL were a good team, the Saints were rolling too. Missing Payton hurt but dont discount beating them in their house so easily. They were not the same team that went 0-5 not matter the shitty D.

We need to start mext season better then 2-8, agreed that late season wins can be deceiving tho. But better we win than lose, hell we ended up with Star anyway.
