He scores Tds lol that's what a qb is supposed to FUCKEN do lol who gives a shit how he scores them...6 points is 6 points..Yards & Tds! He gets shit done. The panthers have been blown out 2 times with newton under center. Other than that they were in every game. He took the same 2-14 team that was ranked DEAD LAST and turned them into a top 10 offense the next year. You haters ignore everything like the fact hurney fucked this team, the defense (except the last half of last season) sucked ass, and inconsistent play calling fucked our overhyped overpriced backfield. Newton isn't perfect but he's a SMALL part of this teams troubles...putting every loss on him is retarded. If anything newton is the only reason this team is somewhat relevant.

it's interesting how strongly the team's wins correlate to the defense not giving the game away late. :willy_nilly:

The rushing yardage is a lot more impressive than the rushing touchdowns. That's an area where he helps the team.

Six times, actually. And it's not like he always plays well when the team wins. He played like shit in the Oakland game that they managed to win anyway because the defense knocked Carson Palmer out. Ultimately it's hard to look past his 13-19 record.

Remember when people were arguing to draft Cam Newton and we were supposed to ignore the gimmick offense and embrace the wins? Now that he's in the league we have to embrace the offensive stats and downplay the record.

It's also hard to ignore that he keeps choking with the game on the line.

Clearly Cam anticipated that Hartsock would have much longer arms.
