No one is... but think back to the predraft process how many were all over the QBs talking about how they make such a huge impact and they touch the ball every play etc. It's not wrong to blame him as a large part of the problem too- especially when throwing it back in the dickriders faces, it's punitive but so what.

 

I'd argue that he's very much like Tony Romo, in the sense that he's very productive except for when it really matters. It's sort of like a golfer who consistently hits beautiful 300+ yard drives but rarely breaks par. That sort of thing tends to stick with an athlete throughout his career.

 

Definitely not wrong to blame him for a large part of it as well. It's deserved.

When I'm being asked where the grey area is though, well...it's just important to remember that he is not the reason our record is that bad. He simply isn't. It's not like we're dealing with a Clausen, here.

I have no issue with some fans looking forward to a new quarterback. But I can also see why some would question why we would zero in on him when he's not the biggest problem we have by far. He might be soon though, so who knows.

I know he scares the shit out of me. I know I'm secretly angry he's not hanging with the team more, and not out there giving it more.

 

Like I said earlier, it's interesting how strongly the team's wins correlate with Cam not throwing interceptions. Fans like Newface get obsessed with yardage and fantasy stats, but the reality is that key mistakes have a bigger impact on the game than volume production. You've got to be efficient around the red zone and you've got to avoid turnovers. Whoever compared Newton to Jay Cutler was pretty spot on.

 

I love how I provide a article (with proven stats), and the only comeback is "you are a retard". Funny how when somebody provides stats that matter you guys just bring up win/loss records. You completely ignore how badly run this team is. You could say newton was the reason this glorified 2-14 team won at least 13 games at all...If this board is any reflection on the panther fanbase as a whole then you probably would have run Andrew luck off too...oh wait you did that too.

 

It's funny jay and cam both never had a oline too...but that's just a coincidence I'm sure.
