When I look at the offense we're loaded up on WR right now (granted it's more quantity than quality), don't need Qb, loaded at RB, okay enough at TE. Biggest weakness on O is ROG and ROT, I think. No great picks for OL in the poll, yet it's lopsided for O. People are elevating Fluker from 2nd round to top half of 1st round status and jumping on WRs, when we need DT, CB, S as well as the OL positions.

I don't get it. But, I am not picking for the team and thankfully no one else voting in this poll is either.

Praying one of the top DT's or OT's fall... otherwise I'd lean Vaccaro which wouldn't crush me..

 

I think I'm with Gettleman in that I don't see cb as a huge need. We have depth and the ability for some guys to play on the outside. Apart from need are Trufant or Rhodes worthy of a top 15 selection. They will get pushed up because of need in my opinion. While we don't have a true stud at cb we have guys who are capable of starting. Not sure the same can be said of safety, DT or RT.

 

Eh, Florence is decent if he's healthy, but he's definitely the only guy who should be starting. All the rest are guys who should be nickel / dime backs. I'm having a hard time thinking of any team where I wouldn't trade their corners for Carolina's. That said, the other NFC South offenses all have an assortment of weapons as opposed to depending on one guy that an elite corner could shut down, so I understand the argument that one CB wouldn't necessarily affect the pass defense that much. Plus, a penetrating DT would help the coverage by producing a better pass rush.

 

Not starting Haruki Nakamura would go a ways on improving the coverage. Vaccaro is a nice jack of all trades and wouldn't be a terrible pick but again just doesn't do it for me. He's not Barron or Berry. While I don't think we will trade down after listening to Gettleman trading down with Minnesota so they could jump ahead of St Louis would be my ideal situation. All these prospects we are tied to have their issues. I would be most upset with Tavon Austin I think.

 

I spent some time thinking about this, all I got was Jaguars Chargers and Raiders

 

Raiders just got mike Jenkins & Tracy porter...chargers got weddle

 

Porter and Jenkins haven't done shit in over a year. Weddle is a safety.
