assuming we're done with free agency, at least for now, biggest needs are what?

    I'd say:

    (i) DT x 2
    (ii) OL x 2
(iii) CB/SS <-- will be interesting if Gettleman advocates the 3 safety approach
    (iv) speed rusher
    (v) backup TE

I bring hood wherever I go.
All but speed rusher (you can't have enough I guess but...applewhite and Alexander along with cj and gh are pretty good)...oh and add kicker.

DE would be a pretty huge need if they don't think they can re-sign Hardy. Of course, if they think that then should trade him. In any case, it might be better to list what the Panthers definitely don't need. QB (they can't let Cam walk no matter what contract it takes), HB, and LB are the only things I'd take off the table. BPA at any other position would be the right choice.

I'm not even sure I'd take LB off the table. If there's an athletic guy in the later rounds that could be groomed to replace Beason in a year or two, but isn't ready now, I'd at least consider it if everything else in that area is a reach.

Well I'm talking about the first two picks. After that you're looking for depth at any position.
