Pointless. It'd be different if either made some sort of impact.

What's McClain up to these days, by the way? Is he even in the league?

Its what worries me about taking a DT at 14 to be honest.

Both were massive reaches and not nearly as good as those that picked them thought they'd be.

But magnus and I told you they would suck right away, so it's not like it was unforeseen. They were just bad picks. And DT isn't a very risky position in the first round, as I have detailed numerous times.

You are like the gift that keeps on giving, LOL.

I feel better about us picking a DT now, since you said they'd suck and all. That was a real reach that statement wasnt it, way to go out on a limb. I think they were both rated 6th and 7th rounders at the time. I dont think anyone was particularly thrilled with the pics at the time.

They've proven they've reached for a DT before, why wouldnt you be worried. How would you feel if they drafted Jesse Williams or Sylvester Williams at 14. I already know your not a fan of Sheldon.

I completely agree that they shouldn't fixate on DT to the point that they "must" draft one at #14, which I've already said repeatedly. And as for reaching, they could do that at any position, right?

Build a good draft board and stick to it.

For sure, as much as I liked Keek pre draft and as well as he has worked out one could argue at the time that every pick we made last year was a reach.

The year before, not much different.

I really would like to be happy with our 2nd rounder this year. Its been awhile since I remember being really happy about that selection.

Would just like to see 2 really solid selections at 14 and 44.
