Yes. I do think there's a chance in hell.

However, the other day I told somebody that I'm God. I told that to somebody that I barely know - and I absolutely meant it at the time. So my opinion probably shouldn't be taken seriously these days.

I guess the 2-14 colts didn't have a chance in hell to go to the playoffs last year either..

Indy has two awful teams in its division, played one of the easiest schedules, and still needed incredibly fluky results to get there. Didn't someone post that Carolina's 2013 schedule is the hardest (at least according to 2012 won/loss records) of any team?

Didn't carolina also loose a shitload of games by less than a TD in Rivera's two 1st seasons? I don't get why everyone is so hopeless around here. They tighten it up and they can win 10 or more games easy.

I like how an extensive track record of failure is somehow presented as a positive.

I think it's delusional to ignore the fact that the panthers have hung in games against the best teams in the NFL. They haven't pulled out the games in the 2nd half true, but this team doesn't necessarily suck like you keep stating. If they tighten up some things they can be a competive/playoff team.

Carolina played the toughest schedule, still won 7 games and should have won a handful more if they didn't shoot themselves in the foot. How is that not somewhat of a positive?

They didn't play the toughest schedule in 2012. In fact, they've only beaten three teams with a winning record over the last two years. And it's not a positive because watching someone fail over and over again doesn't mean they're "due" to stop failing. It means they're bad at whatever they're doing.

With Jordan Gross under contract through 2014, did he get additionsl years to his restructured contract to spread the $$ out or is he looking like a cap causality during next off season?
