    It disgusts me that multiple owners including JR are using LA to strong-arm locals into giving them more public money.

    I wish one (not the Panthers) team would go there simply to take that bargaining chip off the table.

    Sure that means teams would use that abandoned site for teams to threaten to leave to, but that wouldn't be nearly as bad as LA. For example lets say the Jaguars move to LA.

    Then Jerry comes to and says "I want money because if I don't get it I'll move to Jacksonville to get it."

    The most people would reply "Uh yeah... no."

    LA carries enough weight its more of a threat because the NFL claims they've wanted to return there for years now.

    I'd even be ok with the Panthers moving to LA. I'd still pull for them and I don't go to the games anyway since it's expensive and the atmosphere sucks.

    Jacksonville needs to go primarily because their fan base sucks and local blackouts seemingly are the norm

    The Rams already have one foot in the LA door, while the Chargers or Jaguars are also likely to move there.
