    I think every frustrated fan thinks their team has the worst owner in the league. Frustrated Panthers fans wish they had a hands on owner like Jerry Jones, and Frustrated Cowboys fans wish they had a owner like JR who stays out of the way and lets pros run the team.

    Re j jones, I don’t know of one panthers fan who wishes we had him.

    I've been souring on jr for a while now, harder and harder to let my appreciation for getting us a team trump my dissatisfaction over the goings one the last sevaral years.

    guy didn't hire Beane, and you know he'll end up spending the money next year to get someone good to coach if things sour here. I don't think the guy is a bad owner at all. He might do some things I don't agree with, but that's to be expected.

    I hear you, should have looked around, but haven't been able to get on TBR lately.

    ...and I fully expect to get my balls busted when I post. Its just the culture of TBR.

    I don't think either of those things are true, but I get the point you're trying to make. The evidence on both JR and Jerry Jones does look pretty damning, though.

    My guess is that it was going to be a cluster fuck after his death anyway...with the boys fighting over the team. Either way, the families can rarely pay the inheritance tax on the value of the team anyway so they end up selling it anway.
