It's possible but unlikely long isn't under contract for next season and may leave as a free agent, even if he were to be frachised and traded a good (though he's had a rough couple of years) LT for an injury prone MLB is terrible positional value.

I hate gross as much as the next guy but fuck Desean "I'll play hard when I get a new deal" Jackson. And that's insulting to 89 to compare them Smith is one of the toughest players in the NFL Jackson never goes over the middle cause he'll get the pinkston arms.

Trading Chris Gamble & Jordan Gross would make sense given that the team is in tough cap shape and those guys will be free agents after 2013, plus both being old enough to have questionable long-term value. Unfortunately I think the same optimistic reaction that will keep Rivera around will also have the team trying to keep the roster intact rather than make any drastic changes. Trading Beason would be pretty difficult due to the bonus money.

    edit:
And if those guys were to be traded, I'd like it to be for draft picks.

I'd be surprised to see any trades on this team, but if I were to wish for something realistic it'd be a trade down in the 1st.
