Sanchez benched

Tebow will be starting in 2014 for one of the new USFL's teams.

 

I think he'll probably be co-hosting one of those awful ESPN shows by 2014, or doing something with Fox News. He's going to keep himself visible somehow.

 

It's weird to me that people keep ignoring that he won 64% of his regular season starts, many of them involving come from behind victories (does Cam have even one yet?), then also won a playoff game.

I really doubt that, as cutting or trading him would incur a cap hit of $17.1 MILLION!!! for 2013. Plus no one will trade a bag of skittles for him at this point. He's actually not bereft of talent, he's just playing like an idiot right now. Fire the front office and coaching staff, then get someone new who won't ask him to drop back a million times.

 

and he should. He has a fame that doesn't seem to have much corrollary with the field. Make something off it. But, he doesn't have much taste for being a backup, and no one wants to play him.
I mean, if Ryan actually thought Tebow would be better? He'd play him. All of a sudden, Rex Ryan doesn't like winning or something I guess, right?

 

He's really shitty during practices, allegedly. So I can see why that would scare coaches. You only have so many hours to work on shit, which is made even tougher when the QB is throwing ground balls all day. And now you can't really develop him as a backup since his cult hero baggage creates a huge distraction. So it's a tough deal. Right or wrong, it's hard to imagine a place for him going forward.

Maybe Khan decides to blow up the Jags, bring in Tebow and hire Mccoy or Chud to build the whole offense around him. Gotta be all in with him as the starter though. The half-cocked, wildcat/punt protector shit won't work.

 

I hope they all die in a tragic plane accident...wouldn't that be ironic...don't ya think?

 

But what they're not ignoring is his less then 50% completion percentage.
He did lead some miraculous last gasp drives (along with Praters help), but you cant ignore the woefull play up to the point of those drives.

Any decent NFL team should strive to have a balanced offense. Tebow simply doesnt offer enough in the passing game.

The fact that he cant get a look in for the Jets who are resorting to McElroy speaks volumes.
