PFT's braintrust reporting Philly a likely destination.

In unrelated news, Moose deep dicked Gantt's old lady.

Well, you had to go there.

Not sure about Gruden to Philly. He worked there years ago, and they're currently running WCO, so it looks good on paper. I just don't know if it's a real attractive job anymore.

I don't know that he's really that different from Reid other than his QB shenanigans. Both guys seemed to go to shit when their DCs left or died.

I can't figure out why Gruden would want to coach anymore. The gig he has now is cherry.

If he was then he would already be coaching.

I'd agree, but coaches love to coach, and he's still pretty young. Their might be that desire to see his name as one of the greats, and if he's great or can be great, he has plenty of time to get there if he picks the right situation.

I don't know if the Eagles would be the primo job for him to step into, because it remains to be seen if they have a qb. Vick sucks and is clearly not the answer, and even if Foles comes in it'll be hard to evaluate him behind that dreck of a line. Yeah, they've lost 4/5 starters, but the backups look like they just switched from DT the play before. At this point I'm conflicted as to whether they should put Foles in as the last thing I want to see is him get shellshocked like David Carr.

I think Gruden would be better off with a team like Carolina, where the qb for the future is already or likely already there.

I like Foles, but I doubt that Gruden would want to deal with an uncertain QB situation in a hostile-media town. Who knows. I don't think Carolina is much more likely, though. If was genuinely interested in coaching then it seems like he would have jumped at San Francisco prior to last season.
