I dont think so. Shanks aside i think he has had some very effective pooch kicking.

Its not like we're making the playoffs this year. I can live with some growing pains his rookie year. But we need some serious cometition for him next year, its not like these guys cost alot.

I'd like to see Adams again some time soon also. AE had a horrid time fielding catches his rookie year but worked out those kinks.

This kid has return ability, needs to get some confidence back fielding against live bullets. Cant get that on the inactive list every week.

 

Yes because he's shown a lot of upside as a rookie. IMO he's already worth Jason Baker. At least Baker as of when we released him.

 

You make some valid points. Yet, they gave up on Adams immediately this year because of his costly mistakes. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut Nortman and picked up someone...wouldn't matter much on cap space. A punter shouldn't be a "project" that has to be developed.

As for AE....who knows. A lot of physical talent there. My hope is that the Redskin game was a life-changer for him, and he can develop into a good receiver. Steve Smith proved he was better than a third round draft choice; maybe Edwards can do the same.

2 fumbles in the Dallas game. We were pretty much done by the time either occured even if the first was at the second half kickoff. He was kinda scapegoated there.

But I dont want to see anyone fumbling so i'm fine with 1 game benching or until he shows improvement in practice. Maybe he hasn't.

Just saying, its been a while.

We didnt pick up Holliday either when he was available. Wonder if we spend the next game kicking away for him too after preseason and yesterday.

 

Depending on Pilares' shoulder, we may see Adams this week.
