Until the last two games, I was thinking Carolina needed D-line and CB help most, and it's true we need help there. But we need another playmaker on offense so badly right now. I think Smitty is finally showing his age, and we don't have a replacement.

I thought our other receivers did well actually. LaFell made a couple of big plays, and after the drops left him, Murphy did some thing downfield, too. Olsen responds when he actually gets the fucking ball.

Can upgrade most places, don't get me wrong, but I still feel like DT and CB let us down a lot more.

Olsen and LaFell are fine as complimentary players. I'd say the biggest concern right now, personnel wise, is the offensive line, which was already thin before Kalil got hurt.

    This.

I would certainly be ok with a stud at LT as well, since Gross is clearly on the downside of his career. I'm actually pretty happy with Bell.

But we need a AJ Green/Megatron/Demaryius Thomas. A goto, big play WR. LaFell is what he is. I don't knock what he brings, but he is not a stud as Smitty once was.

What is going on with Gettis? Was he finally IR'd? He certainly seemed to have some promise. Seems like folks we remore hopeful with him the LaFell to begin with.

Last I heard he was on the PUP list but practicing. Looks like he might get a jersey either next week or the week after.

We're a lot better at drafting OL than we are at drafting WR.

I might have missed this, but... has Sherrod Martin caught the suck so bad that some dude from the practice squad is starting over him?
