Coaches Rivera has beaten

1) Jack Del Rio

Lame duck who apparently wasn't_giving_a_shit last year. They had an awful team, and we barely beat them in a game that probably should have been canceled because of the weather.


2) Mike Shanahan

A good coach who's track record without Elway is highly questionable. This was a pretty solid win, but we did manage to make John Beck look better than he is.


3) Jim Caldwell

Probably the worst head coach in recent memory, but he somehow almost managed to beat us with Curtis Painter. We would have lost this game by 20 if Peyton Manning was healthy.


4) Raheem Morris (twice)

A complete idiot who was in over his head. He had clearly lost that team by the first meeting, and was a lame duck by the second one. He also didn't have Freeman for the game at TB.


5) Gary Kubiack

Good win, but Andre Johnson being absent certainly contributed. If we played them right now, we'd have to spend the next month getting our assholes stitched back together.


6) Aaron Kromer

An interim-interim head coach. It's almost comical to include this one.





Equally depressing -

Leslie Frazier and Mike Munchak

Both were considered "economic" hires for their respective teams. Neither coach is considered tactically brilliant, yet we lost to them both....at home, including the humiliating 30-3 romp to Tennessee following a bye week.


Lovie Smith

Smith is not a bad coach, per se, but the infamous "rugby style punt" forced me to include this game. Also, it's egregious that we allowed Mike Martz to run it down our throat.


Greg Schiano

A rookie HC from Rutgers leading a 4-12 team. I'm sorry, but this should have been a win. We looked unprepared and badly outcoached by a team that gave up 600+ yards of offense the following week.

 

I could almost deal with the stoic crap if the tradeoff was consistency. Defensively, they have plenty of resources to be better than they are. Poor preparation, poor performance.

Fuck Brian Murphy.

I miss the Silver Bullet so much

 

There is consistency though...

We consistently look unprepared.

We consistently have shitty special teams.

We consistently let the other team gain 7 yards before making a tackle.

We consistently get fucked in the ass better than any team in the NFL.
