I didn't see the whole game, but was he active? I hear he makes a lot of money.

Definitely worrisome at this point. He's had two sacks over his last ten games.

Sniffed the QB once tonight that i saw. Eli stepped just underneath his reach and made the completion. Big money...showed some signs last week. But god...guys that put a little pressure on the QB and get close...those guys are a dime a dozen.

Maybe Johnson could learn from Alexander and Edwards.

Felt like there was an Eli throwaway that the replay showed his knee was down, early, which would've been a sack. Plenty of hits, near-sacks, almosts.
Johnson's gotten good pressure this season. Nothing went well last night so I'm not going to pick out one spot and get pissy about it - they all played poorly.

Yep, Manning was definitely down for at least a 7-yard sack, in a pretty key spot. Was probably my most pissed off moment at Rivera for not tossing the red flag. May not have mattered, but on the opening drive to hand them essentialy a free down was fucking horrible.

Rivera is a very mediocre game manager.

Not a lot in the giants game though, I don't think the Panthers had more than 5-6 pressures that stood out. 2 by Alexander, 1 by Edwards, 1-2 by Johnson. But I will say in there defense, I don't recall very many times that we rushed more than 4.

yeah, I noticed that too and even rewinded it and saw his knee was def down....somebody should have been on the ball and had Rivera review it.

is it just me, or does Rivera look have a clueless deer in the headlights visage on the sidelines a lot?
