He nails the 49 yarder like its an extra point but his kick offs look like shit... Still I'd take him over what's his name

I'm afraid that his kickoffs might keep him from taking Mare's job. It's a shame because it looks like he's the better kicker.

The one K/O I saw it was about 7-8 yards deep in the end zone about 3 yards outside the goal post. I am hoping the Panthers remembers the epic fails of Mare that cost us two wins last. Medlock would be a positive change because he's not at the end of his career.

that one against Houston did kinda fuck things up.

We didn't draft the biggest leg punter, either. We drafted the supposedly most consistent one.

Not that Mare's consistent. That whole thing is just a fuckup.

I'd like to see Medlock stick...also, some of his KO are a little short, though in the ez. but many that are taken out and returned in the preseason for show, won't be in the reg season.

Kasay's probably going to become available if Heartley is healthy in New Orleans

Seems to me that the preferable combination is a strong legged KO specialist / punter and dedicated FG kicker rather than a KO /FG kicker and a punter. I haven't seen the Panthers try going that route since letting Todd Sauerbrun take a few unpredictable KO attempts when Kasay started to become a liability on KOs.
