He's also referred to the "Texans" a few times as the "Titans."

Clausen doesn't even need to show up for camp next week. He's done, IMHO. I doubt that he makes the practice squad this year. Edwards is a better third option at quarterback because he has SOME athletic ability and can even play slot or WR. Clausen sucks the sweat off of a dead man's balls.

This is a pretty general statement. Do you mean that he looks physically slow? Or do you mean that he looks slow to process the play? I don't buy that he looks physically slow as he was able to run down several plays past the line of scrimage as you suggested. He may be slow processing the speed of the game still since it was his first game and a new position. During his sideline interview, he mentioned that the speed of the game was greater than he expected.

You can't deny that he has a nose for the ball. I think the kid has pretty high potential and could be our best LB'er in a few years.

He's certain to be our best white linebacker since Dan Morgan.

Yes. My belief is that to invest a high first round pick and/or a big contract in a linebacker, he needs to be a guy who makes plays coming forward. Tackles totals can be deceiving because you can make a lot of them after giving up 4+ yard gains, but is that really making an impact? I'm sure that it has a lot to do with playing a completely new position, but whenever Kuechly was at WLB his interaction was well downfield. There were a couple of times where the HB beat him to the edge and made him look just not very fast. Hopefully things will improve as he gets used to playing outside, but I'm officially concerned that just like Beason in 2010, he's a pure middle linebacker who really shouldn't be playing anywhere else.

Cam looked like a kid on Christmas morning running down the sideline following that play.

I can`t think of much that looked good for the Panthers last night. O line play and blitz pickup looked like an after thought, passes were bouncing off recievers` hands, big chunks of yards given up by the defense, poor tackling, special teams still inconsistent. The whole mess was just hard to watch if you were a fan.
Huston looked to be grownup playing against the kids.
