What part of that article backed your assertion that Hardy has made more of an effort than Peppers? In fact, it seemed to detail what a strenuous, although unconventional workout regimen he has.

it would be hard to be one of the hardest workers in the weight room, but not lift weights.

It's not that Peppers didn't work hard or play hard, he wasn't strong. His method is logical but in the end from watching him get handled by stronger players in college to being blocked well by TEs in his last year here, it's a part of his game that could've been better.

There's a lot more to do in weight rooms than just lift weights, but fine, I apologize for giving the impression that he did a lot of weight-lifting. Look, I get that you never back off something stupid that you said, but this is a great chance to change that. It was pretty dumb to say that Hardy showed more effort than Peppers just because media reports have Hardy getting to 300 pounds.

I swear you used to know a lot more about football than this. Peppers' problem was never one of strength, it was always about bad technique. When stymied on his initial rush he would give up leverage, stand upright, and let blockers control him with their hands. Julius was plenty strong, he just never learned skills using his hands or maintaining leverage the way I always hoped he would (by learning from Rucker, who was excellent at that despite not being nearly as strong as Peppers).

I'm not worried about old arguments about you defending his honor or effort overall. I just wanted the guy stronger when he was here. Before you get any angrier, show some proof. I did.

Hardy has a golden opportunity this year. He does not have any one entrenched ahead of him and offense should keep us in a lot of games.

You showed proof that Hardy gave more "effort" than Peppers because he reportedly got to 300 pounds? No, you really didn't. Your "proof" was completely irrelevant to the issue. You said something ridiculous. For once in your life pretend that you have the balls to acknowledge a mistake.
