    There's no competition between Cam and Alex Smith, in terms of who's the better QB. But if we could trade Cam, Rivera and our defense for Jim Harbaugh and their defense, I'd have to consider it.

    Bottom line: It's still the ultimate team game.

    Alex Smith with the 49ers is the exact same as we were when we had Jake Delhomme,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, a QB away from being a great team.
