Mac's speed shop has maybe the best BBQ in the city. If you wanna avoid parking fees stay somewhere close to the light rail, also your room will be cheaper a little further away from downtown. Admission is free to the uptown caberet with your game day ticket. Also the epicentre is good nightlife. There is anything from bowling, movies, bars and restaurants ranging from Fleming's to moe's.

Ask around in the stands for a guy named Purrsy. Tell him I said he could be your bitch for the night. Hes not the tightest guy out there if you know what i mean, having served hard time for(well, he wont say but surely its some shit he got himself into, probably molesting boys but who knows) but he'll do in a pinch. Make sure he craps out his wallet first so he can take the DP. He may reply to this post with some half witted attempt at redeeming some semblence of respect on the board, but i assure you hes down; both literally and figuratively. Enjoy your trip. :42:

    Oh good lord.

Honestly just walk around downtown, dude. There's a lot of shit to do. Get there early, google all the areas around the stadium. Everything that's pretty cool is within a few miles radius. Just walk around and take it as it comes. It's a nice city. Not great, but it's nice.

Stay downtown if you can. There aren't many decent hotels on the Light Rail Line and you can usually get a pretty good deal on a room downtown.

Aloft has a AAA rate right now for $129/night. You won't even have to leave the complex since it is in the Epicenter. You could also keep an eye on the Westin as they usually have pretty nice weekend deals during the season. I have stayed there for as little as $119. There's also a Holiday Inn, Courtyard, Residence Inn, and Marriott properties downtown that are in good locations.

As for tickets, it depends on your budget. So let me know what you think you want to spend and I can help you there.

There's not a ton of site seeing in Charlotte. It's just not that kind of city. There is the NASCAR Hall of Fame downtown. Whitewater Center is a short drive from downtown. But if you are sports fans, you would probably have just as much fun hanging in one of the sports bars (Blackfin, Champions, Fox and Hound) and watching college football.

That's a lot of good info. I'd like to keep the tickets at around $100 a piece, and I need four. I can be flexible on the price though. I'm gonna look into the Aloft. You know any reputable BBQ spots?
