Question for Thelt

What are you're thoughts on Robert Griffin III? Have you watched his tape, and if so, how do you grade him out?

 

Thelt tried to watch some old tape, but since he only has a black and white TV, he wasn't able to tell him apart from the dark field background.

 

Thelt doesn't care for non-white quarterbacks.

 

Troy smith clone. Let's not rule out a move to wide receiver. Destined to end up broke within a year of leaving the league.

Luck= well we thought cause he played at Stanford and the talking heads loved him that he was an Elway clone, turns out Cam doesnt suck like we all said he would and now not only does Capt checkdown have to live in Mannings shadow but now he has to realize by playing a full season that Cam is in every way superior to him and that he did us a favor by keeping his pop gun arm in school another year and allowing the greatness that is Cam to descend on the QB starved fanbase of the panthers. Being in the same division he and Blaine Gabbert can comiserate on what it is to fall short of the glory of Cam. Maybe Clausen can share the expirience with them of what its like to constantly be reminded of total and complete inferiority both on and off the field.

 

I have not watched him play and do not have a strong opinion on him. If he can pass as well as run he will do well. If he is a weak passer and great runner he will struggle over the long term. I would probably not have given up what the skins did to get in position to draft him, not because I think he will suck but because I would not give up that much for anyone. Half the QBs drafted in the first round will bust.

You guys see racism where there is none but at the same time ignore real racism when it stares you in the face.
