Apparently Reiff was spotting chatting with the OL coach recently.

Gross is getting up there, Otah, for all the goodwill has both question marks and is in a contract year.

If they didnt take a closer look at Reiff and Kalil they wouldnt be doing their jobs properly.

Even Trent Richardson could be possible if they swung a trade for Stewart or Dlo, not bloody likely but possible.

That's interesting if only because I imagine they're asking him about Poe. God I hope they don't take him.

The Lions also hosted Midwestern State offensive lineman Amini Silatolu today. Silatolu played left tackle for the Division II school, but most feel
he’s best suited for guard in the NFL.

He’s projected to go in the first two rounds of the draft and would be a long-term solution to the Lions’ aging offensive line. Silatolu already has visited the Carolina Panthers and has visits scheduled with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings.

West Virginia DE Bruce Irvin is scheduled to meet with the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs. He has also worked out for the Jets and Chicago Bears.

The more I think about this, the more it bothers me. They clearly brought in Leary to talk about Poe, and if you're going to those lengths then it means you have a strong inclination to pick him. Fuck me, and forget what I said about visits not mattering.

So, for those that are in the smokecreen category how about this.

    All these Dlinemen and Olinemen

Not a peep about WR bar the typical special teamer return guy Adams.

No Blackmon, Wright, Floyd or Jeffery.

Plenty of comparisons between Wright and Smitty.

If could have Smitty again at #9, would you take it?

Correct. There is no other reason to bring in Leary given that he is a very marginal prospect who will be lucky to get drafted in the later rounds.
