Why is why few teams actually need a young QB now, and the salary issue never stopped teams from taking QBs before. Last season was only the fourth time that three QBs went in the top 10 since 1950. Four times since 1950.

    Stewart or Williams + # 9 for Cleveland's 4.

Cleveland gets a quality RB, and they can draft that idiot QB at 9.
We get Claiborne (and get to stick it to the Bucs).

just saw that Claiborne is getting his wrist operated on. that might cause him to fall to us . .. maybe?

Given Mike Sherman's connection to Tannehill, Miami taking him does seem more plausible. That said, I expect them to trade back a bit in order to do so now that Seattle has committed to Matt Flynn and there's no huge risk of anyone else in that area taking him. The bad news for the Panthers is that any team looking to trade up to #8 will most likely be doing so to take any guy like Claiborne or Reiff who falls.

a great point ... well kinda dark i think spot on (except the Reiff talk who i think will get picked somewhere below us)

although if Miami does trade down, Cleveland might then trade up to get him.:de-mote:

It would take a lot to move up from #22.

if Miami trades down 5-6 spots, how bad would it be for Cleveland to move above them?
