I have no problem with OT if the talent difference is clear.

We went OT with the 8th pick in '03, and went to the SB. I realize we had a real DL then, and picked 8th rather than 9th, and got Davis, Jake, and watched Smitty break out. And had good ST. Just sayin' because of the SB talk, not remotely expecting it.

In truth, I'd cry. I would cry my ass off.

I would be happy however, if we took an OT. The bottom line is, we have to get stronger in the lines, both sides.

I heard Reiff had a bad showing at the combine? Can anyone explain what that was about?

    http://fifthdown.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/02/16/scouting-the-draft-l-s-u-s-michael-brockers/

possessing average to below-average lateral quickness. He gets penetration from the inside, but he’s really more of a space-eater than anything else — an undersize nose tackle, if you will. Brockers handles double teams well, using his strength to stand his ground, disengage from blocks and make tackles ... but I don’t see him as anything more than a solid N.F.L. player.

after watching the Georgia game last night, i think this evaulation is spot-on. weird, the BCS game he looked like a stud in the making. just not quick enough i don't think to ever be more than a good run stuffer ... and you'd want much better with the #9 pick in the draft. Cox to me is too small. Poe looks like crap on film. not a good year for a DT unless one of them falls to the 2nd round. maybe i will look at Still more. at this moment, i'm back to hoping the Blackmon or the G falls to us, or Jenkins?.

Odd, because I think he's actually bad at taking on double teams and holding his ground. He's much more effective when shooting gaps.

You'd of thought they'd have learned a lesson from Jay Feeley. Id be shocked if they go that route again.

So who wins the RG3 sweepstakes?

Feeley and Flynn don't really seem that comparable, and I think Washington will pay the most for RG3.

PFT says Cats are keeping an eye on the Joseph kid from North Alabama via FL I think? Sounds like a lot of talent but with a ton of baggage. I think its a stretch at # 9.
