he did pay the best players from that time. I couldn't imagine our current line without Kalil. We could come up with passable talent but the guy impacts.

Plus, many of those contract were ones we would've done in '10 had there not been labor unrest.

Please stop making yourself look like the world's biggest homer by making excuses for Hurney's dumb ass. There is no defense for what he has done to the team's cap. None.

we overspent. That's fine, and I know you're coming at it as part of your Hurney manifesto. But, signing three Pro Bowlers back and saying that it's negated by a 2-14 tagline, never agreed with that.

Fair enough, I see Norminator did bring up Kalil. But you know that most are worried about what Hurney spent on other players, so stop making excuses for him. He's the worst GM in the NFL, bar none.

I feel confident in what I said, and that guys like Kalil are valuable. Go argue your Hurney issues with someone else.

So your position is that Hurney isn't a disaster and that he didn't completely fuck up the team's cap space for years to come?

My thing is this. I'll grant that Kalil is good. Great even. I'll check on this but he may be the highest paid O lineman in the league, including tackles. Again, I could be wrong on that point. Either way the O line is not nearly as good without him.

I was more concerned with DW, and I love the guy, but we were strong at RB so make him a respectable offer but be willing to lose him. Also, we probably could have gotten Charles Johnson for less. We basically scared everyone else away from even thinking about an offer. Beason I'm cool with. TD is an awesome dude and love his heart but gotta question that deal a little because of health.

    Kasay vs Mare....enough said.

I could go on but I know its been talked about endlessly.

My position was about some of the players re-signed and whether or not their talent was more important than the record of the prior year. Again - go argue your Hurney issues with someone else.
