Doubt Conner comes back but still would like it. Senn has been a decent stand in and could be had for backup purposes. Anderson? Why not, what else do we have?

I like the idea of having Beason & Conner on the field together in a 3-4, and not sure I'm sold on Beason coming back full time, even if he does... still questions at Davis returning. Conner is not great, but we're not going to draft a LB as good as Conner...

which is bizarre, but they put a draft pick into him so why not. For fuck's sake I at least hope there wasn't much bonus.

might or might not. If we do intend on starting our 'current' theoretical three, at least there's a lot of room for Rivera to draft his backups in an image he'd want. You can pencil in Senn as a backup and I'm not complaining if they decided Gaither was their backup MLB, but they definitely have a depth need at the very, very least, and many times John Fox would add an extra LB when you figured we were done. In 02 we had Fields/Morgan/Witherspoon and anticipated Towns would play a part, and ended up using Navies, Brian Allen, etc.

And, while some ST play is needed so they might grab another high value 6'1 230 lb freaking weakside guy, I really don't want people to sleep too hard on a rush guy with some size/speed ability. This will be on the team in some form.

I don't see what's so bizarre about it. He's a young, dependable and cheap long snapper. The Bills just re-uped their LS guy as well.

    that it's four years

then again they did cheap 3-4 year deals with guys like Hoover, Goings, etc, back in the day.

I don't have a problem with Jansen. When we traded for him, that had a prime recipe to fuck up, but he's been good.
