If we can get healthy then DT and LB almost fixes itself. Again not a first round need but Stanford's DeCastro instantly gives our pussy offensive line attitude and potential helps our run game so Cam doesn't have to do it all

Holy shit no. Even with everyone healthy, Carolina might have the worst group of DTs in the entire league. Now it might be true that Hurney avoids adding more because he's already made moves there, but his moves have been horrible. The DTs are just trash. Fua is a nice backup at NT, but that's about it.

Agreed about our DT's being pretty terrible.
The two rookies now on IR shower very little. Both seemed to get pushed around and neither made any memorable plays. I'm not sure they had anything behind the LOS.
Neblett and Shirley are adequate depth I suppose but as a whole the group is pretty poor.
I initially was pleased with the DE's. But Hardy has not been able to get consistent pressure. I wouldn't e opposed to bringing in a high round DE.

Hardy & Keiser are nice backups, they just need another starter.

Unfortunately I think Hurney may just expect health to fix the problem, but the DTs are horrible. Why they didn't go after Mebane last off-season is beyond me.

Hopefully there is a free agent dt we can sign and use McClain and Fua as backups

Some teams shy away from interior lineman high, just because it's hard to predict how they will keep their weight right. It's a good year for OTs where we will likely pick. Martin and Reiff are worthy picks. I like Reiff because he has played all over the line at a high level. He has come on strong lately. I'd love a WR that requires a double team, so would Smith and Cam. Of course the D is full of holes so, you cant' argue with a CB or or a lineman high.

DT looks pretty shitty in free agency this season.

we probably didn't, and if he was inclined to stay it may not have mattered, but who knows.
