    It's strange how quiet the sports media has been about this play.

    I think the NFL didn't like it, thinking it was un-football-like. After all, they put a rule in the book outlawing intentional fumbles so that you couldn't intentionally put the football on the ground to run a fumblerooskie.

    Now Rivera found a way around it, and I think the NFL considers the play embarrasing to the Texans (like I give a shit) and demeaning to the NFL.

    For that reason, you hardly see it on the highlight shows.

    the NFL network raved about it and has shown it numerous times

    it has nothing in common with a fumblerooski play, I don't think

    I've seen a very similar play in person at an NCSU game with Rivers @ qb, his Jr year I believe.

    If it was a fumlerooski it wouldn't have been allowed. The ball never touched the ground.

    Anyway, I've seen lots of talk about the play on various sports shows this week.
