No, Ponder was really affected by any of that. It was basically just a matter of the Vikings reaching for need.

still very early to say. It'd be fantastic to get a trade like the Cleveland trade, but I'd really just love an extra 2, reign in two defenders and a tackle.

Getting an extra second could allow them to take a DT and a safety, which would be nice.

Not so much a need but I'd love to get the big Offensive guard from Stanford DeCastro. Smart as hell and has a nasty streak

Just looked at a mock draft and apparently, as of 11/4, we were picking 11th. :champagne:

The success of recent rookie QBs along with the new lower cost associated with high draft picks should make high picks in the upcoming draft more valuable than ever. I suspect we could move down and get something good out of it.

I would love to move down. We need that third back (which, btw, our original 3rd we gave for Olsen sure looks pretty good for Chicago now).

the cost difference between a high 3rd and mid 3rd isn't that much.

Doesn't matter, we would have missed on the pick anyway. That's why I don't get upset trading picks for known players.
